October 1: For those who live near the 1800 blocks of
Anastasia Way and Lakewood Drive, please keep an eye on the bathroom on the
golf course located
between the 13th green and the 14th tee. There is evidence that the young
men who have been hanging out there (and who can't use the bathroom because
it's locked) have been engaging in drug activity. Some of the 'leftovers'
have been found in or near the retention pond.
Please call the non-emergency number any time you see
people lingering there who do not appear to be playing golf. The police
have advised us that we need to discourage this activity. 893-7780. It
seems to be most prevalent late in the afternoon/early in the evening.
We are also hearing about drug activity in the bushes
near the corner of Anastasia and
Fairway, where the little bridge crosses over the culvert before the
triangle at Alhambra.
Please keep an eye on that area as well and report any suspicious activity.
